As we begin to assimilate back into a world that has changed, the reality of this is all is that each one of us has changed and are being changed. In any trial, the truth is that we are refined. For some of us our faith has been strengthened, for others it has been shaken. For some of us we have learned to love our neighbors, yet others of us have not felt loved nor have been given a chance to love. Some of us understand even more fully that our Father in Heaven is good, yet others of us are really struggling to see this. For some of us hope has been ignited, yet for some of us sorrow has gripped us even tighter. For some of us our resolve to make a difference in this world has never been stronger, yet for others of us we desperately need a vacation, a time to rest. Over the last 3 months we have been challenged, and for most of us we have felt the reality of both sides of everything mentioned above. In our lifetime the need for us to be strong and courageous has never been greater. True strength and courage come from what God has said is true about us. Our hope in this series is that you and I understand who God has said that we are and that through living in our true identity the light of Jesus shines brighter than ever before.
