Join us on a Tour Ministries making a difference in Macomb County!

Thursday, April 27, 2023 – 8 AM – 4 PM.

We will gather at Trinity Utica at 8 AM for a tour and presentation then load onto the bus. While we travel to our first destination we will learn about how our transportation helps minister to children through Power Company Kids, in Pontiac & Detroit.

Our Host, Rev Lew Stier Associate Pastor of Social Ministries and Outreach at Trinity Lutheran, Utica and Hostess, Executive Director of Gifts For All God’s Children, Patti Jacques will guide our group through several ministry stops and sights as we tour locations that are making a difference to our neighbors in need.

Cost to attend is $15. Lunch will be provided. Payment may be made the day of the event by cash or check or online in advance.

MCREST (Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team)
Compassion Pregnancy Center
Live Rite Structured Recovery Corps.
Harvest Time Christian Fellowship
Trinity Lutheran Church, Warren (Macomb County Warming Center Location)
MATTS (Macombs Answer to Temporary Shelter – Salvation Army)

In an effort to make a difference at each location we visit, in-gathering items will be taken for each location. Items will be collected the morning of the tour and distributed as we make our stops. We have asked each ministry what would most benefit their operations and their answers are below.

Turning Point – Gift Cards to Meijer or Walmart to help families getting on their feet
MCREST (Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team) – Full Size Body Wash and Shampoo
Compassion Pregnancy Center – Diapers (Size 4,5,6) and Wipes
Live Rite Structured Recovery Corps. – Gently used Career Clothing
Harvest Time Christian Fellowship – Canned food items
Trinity Lutheran Church, Warren (Macomb County Warming Center Location) – Twin sized Blankets
MATTS (Macombs Answer to Temporary Shelter – Salvation Army) – Rain Ponchos
