Advent Worship 11:00 am and 7:00 pm
December 3, 2025 | Trinity Lutheran Church
Advent is a season where we anticipate the coming of Christ. That statement intentionally has multiple meanings because Advent isn’t just a season of “pre-Christmas.” Jesus’ first coming, which he fulfilled in the incarnation at Christmas, is certainly one of those meanings. But Advent is also a season when we anticipate Jesus’ return to make all things new. This has led the church to use the word “Maranatha,” an Aramaic phrase which means, “Come, O Lord.” This Advent season we make that our prayer, asking our Lord Jesus to come and bring with Him His promised mercy and grace. Join us Wednesdays in December as this Advent we hope and pray, “Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.”
Advent Midweek Services are on Wednesdays at 11 am (live streamed) and 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Advent Lunches are available in the Fellowship Hall following the 11 am services for a free will donation. Please note that the 7 pm service on December 17 will be the school’s Christmas musical.
