Ministries - Music

Our God invites us to “make a joyful noise to the Lord!” (Psalm 100:1)
That’s something we’re all invited to do and something we all can do!
With music we offer prayers and intercessions, we confess our faith,
and we honor and praise and celebrate God and all He has done for us!

Trinity offers a wide variety of musical styles of praise and worship
to fit many different needs and desires.

The Music Ministry of Trinity offers many opportunities for involvement…

INSTRUMENTAL
Brass Choir – rehearses Saturday mornings at 10 a.m.
Flute Choir – rehearsals as scheduled
Hand Bell Choir – rehearses Mondays at 8:00 p.m.
Organ, piano, keyboards – from playing for a whole worship service to accompanying a group to offering occasional solos
Praise Band – including drums, bass, guitars, and keyboard
And other instruments – creatively used in worship
              

VOCAL
Celebration Singers (contemporary) – rehearses two Mondays each month at 7:30 p.m. 
Men’s Chorus (various styles) – rehearses two Sunday mornings/month
Trinity Choir (various styles) – rehearses Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
Women’s Choir (various styles) – rehearses Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
Praise Teams (contemporary) – lead singing in Celebration Worship
Festival Choir – for festival worship, gathers and rehearses seasonally. Soloist and ensembles also participate on occasion
Most groups meet regularly September to May and occasionally through the summer

SCHOOL
Trinity Lutheran School offers both music education classes for all students Preschool through Grade 8 as well as vocal choirs and instrumental groups. Both general band and string ensemble are offered grades 5 – 8. Hand Bell Choirs also begin at Grade 5. Opportunity to sing in Children’s Choirs begins in grade 1. We rejoice in praising God in fifteen different choirs and musical groups at Trinity Lutheran School.
