The
staff of Trinity finds excitement and joy in their personal relationship
with Jesus Christ and His call in their lives to share Him with
others. They stand ready to help you to know Jesus better.
 Brigitte
(Rohde) Dietz is the volunteer Director of Trinity’s Women's
Ministry. Brigitte is an alumnus of Trinity Lutheran School, Lutheran
High North and MSU. Working primarily out of her home, where she
takes care of her children, Brigitte believes that her children
are the reasons why her involvement in Women’s' Ministry is
so awesome: because it connects her with other parents and with
other women in all seasons of life.
 Pastor
Wilton Fluegge has been a pastor for over 41 years. For 30 years,
Pastor Fluegge has served on various Boards and Committees associated
with the Lutheran Church, Michigan District. Here at Trinity, Pastor
Fluegge makes hospital and shut-in calls. He is still very active
in his ministry and preaches most Sundays at churches within the
southeast Michigan area.
 Mary
Anne Hibbard, Minister of Worship and Music, has served in several
congregations in Michigan and Illinois. She has been privileged
to assist these congregations in introducing contemporary worship
while continuing to offer strong traditional worship as well. She
studied music history and keyboard performance at Western Michigan
University, and worship and theology at Concordia University (Wisconsin
and River Forest) and Bethel College.
 Carla
Hudgens, Assistant Music Director, has served Trinity since 1987.
She coordinates Praise Teams, plays organ, accompanies 7 school
choirs, directs the Men’s Chorus and the Celebration Singers,
and assists in creating worship services. One of her goals is to
involve many people in the music program at Trinity so that they
may experience the joy of making music to the Lord and getting to
know the members of their Trinity family.
 Dan
Karlin is the Minister of Social Outreach. He encourages both members
and non-members to share more of their possessions and their time
with ministries that are on the front lines in helping others. His
job is to take YOU out of your comfort zone and into the world of
reality.
 Patty
J Kernstock is Director of Youth Ministries at Trinity Lutheran
Church and has served here since July of 2004. She is responsible
for ministries to our young people in grades 5-12 as well as early
college aged students. With a background in counseling psychology,
juvenile criminal justice, outdoor education and religious studies,
Patty J has served “in and around” young people in various
capacities in several states as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Patty J sees her role at Trinity as one who supports and assists
the parents of young people, who are the REAL youth ministers to
their young people.
 Norbert
Koschmann is the volunteer Director of Trinity’s Missions
Program. Norbert is an alumnus of Lutheran High School in Milwaukee,
WI and Valparaiso University. During World War II, Norbert served
in the European Theater with Patton’s 3rd Army. For years,
Norbert has been active in the mission’s field and is active
in the Brazil Lutheran Church. He also served on the LCMS Lutheran
World Relief Committee and the Michigan District Board for Missions.
 Elizabeth
Brandt-Millard (Betsy) is our Deaf Interpreter at our Sunday, 9:30
a.m. worship. If you’ve ever sat and watch Betsy Interpret,
you would be truly captivated by her excellent communication skills
and wonderful facial expressions. She was called at the age of seven
into the deaf world through her Sunday school teacher. Betsy holds
2 degrees, one from Madonna University and one from Walsh College.
She has a BA degree in SLS (Sign Language Studies), along with successfully
completing the ITP (Interpreter Training Program), satisfying the
requirements of the ADA (American Disabilities Act). Betsy has been
interpreting professionally since 1995 and here at Trinity since
1998. She has been married to her husband Craig since 1986.
 Don
Palmeter is Trinity’s Visitation Minister. He was a Junior
High teacher for 41 years. For 23 of those years he served Trinity
as Athletic Director and Junior High mathematics teacher. He also
coached many of our athletic teams. He continues to serve the Lord
by making hospital visits and shut-in calls. He also has given chapel
presentations for the school and occasionally substitutes in our
school for absent teachers.
 Dave
Sheldon, Director of Group Ministries, has served Trinity in this
capacity since August 2002. As Director of Groups he is responsible
for Senior’s Ministry including the Golden Circle, Friday
Flock and PrimeTimers. Dave is also advisor to the Trinity Men’s
Ministry, the Twenties and Thirties (TNT) ministry and is involved
in developing Trinity’s Small Groups. David also teaches a
variety of Bible studies on marriage, parenting, and spiritual growth
topics.
 Jane
Strybis is Trinity’s Director of Assimilation and Adult Education
Coordinator. The focus of the Assimilation Ministry is to direct
the programs designed to assimilate new members into the congregational
life of Trinity Lutheran Church and to facilitate the placement
of congregational members in the ministries and volunteer programs
of Trinity. The focus of the Adult Education Coordinator is to administer
the Adult Bible Study Program at Trinity.
 Alison
Werner is Trinity’s Nursery Director. Alison attended Concordia
College in Ann Arbor, MI, where she received a Bachelors Degree
in Elementary Education. She taught for ten years in Lutheran Schools
before coming to Trinity in the fall of 1992. Alison worked in the
nursery for one year before becoming the Director. Alison is married
and has three young children.
 Sarah
Wittrock, is a DCE and serves as the Director of Children’s
Ministries at Trinity. Sarah came on board in June of 2005. Sarah
oversees ministries relating to children and their families from
birth through sixth grade including: Sunday Morning Bible Club (formerly
known as Sunday School), Vacation Bible Camp, Caraway Street, FLASH
(for 3rd and 4th graders), The Bridge (for 5th & 6th graders),
as well as other special programs.
