Youth Ministry
Don’t let anyone put
you down because you’re young.
Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love,
by faith, by integrity.
~ 1 Timothy 4:12
Trinity Youth Ministry Vision
TLC Youth Ministry exists to help young people to…
1. Honor God - in ways that are meaningful and relevant
2. Grow in Friendship with Jesus - by learning and teaching about
Him
3. Reach out to others - to connect them to Jesus
4. Have a safe place to belong together
5. Help people - just because it’s the right thing to do

Here are some ways we carry
out our vision:
Grades 5-6 (The Bridge)
The Bridge is for youth in the 5th and 6th grades and is a collaboration of the children and youth departments. Students in these grades are welcome to attend any event, no matter what school they attend.
Bridge Events - In addition to some Confirmation events, there are monthly activities to help bridge these pre-teens into youth group. Activities are meant to build community, connection to each other and Jesus, and service. Watch the Evangelist and Witness for information on the following events:
5/6 Bible Club – Every regular (non-holiday) Sunday between Labor Day and Memorial Day, we have a fun program for students in grades 5-6 from 9:30-10:40am. Our curriculum helps children explore the Bible by doing hands on projects and events (usually involving food and/or cooking!)Each child is also encouraged and taught how to begin to read the Bible on their own throughout the week.
FaithInk: Midweek Confirmation (For all 5-8th Graders who do not attend Trinity Lutheran School)
What? An educational program for students in grades 5-8. There are games, teaching and small groups.
When? Every Wednesday during the school year (except school holidays!)
