Ministries - Men's

The Men’s Ministry will be the “Roofers” of Trinity, prayerfully seeking opportunities to share God’s Word. We will serve as active Church leaders, expanding the Spiritual foundation of our church as directed by our Lord and Savoir. Our path will be creative, unique and extraordinary, leading to the feet of Jesus.

Men’s Mentoring Ministry (3M)

The purpose of this ministry is to allow fathers and their children (grades 3-8) to gather together with other Christians in Bible study and fellowship.  Various events such as an October hay ride and bonfire, bowling, picnic barbecues, etc., are scheduled.  Check the Evangelist for info.

Men’s Christian Book Club

It is not always easy to get away during the week for Bible study and other men’s activities.  However, you can still get involved in Christian Growth through the Men’s Christian Book Club.  The book chosen for this year is Half Time by Bob Buford.  Bob believes that the second half of your life can be better than the first.  Much better! Half Time is filled with a blend of personal insight, true-life examples, and quotes from those who have successfully navigated the exhilarating and dangerous shoals of mid-life.  Weekly “coaching” reports, reflecting the readings, are e-mailed to those who are interested.  Contact Dave Sheldon at church, get a book and get reading.

Did someone say “Breakfast is Served?”

The Men's Ministry sponsors prayer breakfasts for men.  At these breakfasts we break bread together, participate in fellowship, sing praises to God and have speakers on various topics.  Please check the Evangelist for future events.

Other Men’s Ministry Activities

Promise Keepers: Each year, Trinity men attend the Promise Keepers Event nearest our Detroit area.  It is with great joy that our men gather together with thousands of other Christian guys and realize that we are in this together with our great Triune God.  Great fellowship and Christian growth are experienced.

What else?:   If you would like to get involved in making a difference in the lives, for Christ, of Trinity men and their friends, then please consider becoming part of this ministry.  Contact Dave Sheldon, Staff advisor to Trinity Men’s Ministry at 586-731-4490 ext. 129, or dave@trinityutica.com.
